This series is of my mom, who has survived Breast Cancer three times over the past ten years. This last bout is in her lungs and her bones. She has struggled and fought her way through chemo and radiation, and is just getting her strength back. She is a true hero, a fighter, and a inspiration to me. Never have I heard a word of complaint from her mouth, regardless of how much she has been through. I have been taking photographs of her "journey" this hopefully final battle with breast cancer.
It goes in this order:
Before treatments started, shown with my daughter
Hair started to fall out, so she had my sister shave it off
Artistic shots
Shots at the temple
Chemo treatments
Radiation
Final photo is my favorite of all.

I love the way she so hopefully looks up at the camera. Not a trace of regret... this is so powerful. :+fav:
